Psychotherapy is an effective way for individuals to make significant personal life changes. Within the context of a confidential therapeutic relationship, I partner with my clients to identify the issues, patterns and experiences that have led them to seek psychotherapy. Together we develop a personal treatment plan that identifies goals and sets realistic expectations. With warmth I guide my clients through their own discovery and healing process. Fostering resilience in the face of adversity, we collaborate to break time-worn patterns and create more adaptive coping strategies. With mutual commitment, honesty, and humor, psychotherapy can result in the lasting psychological, emotional and functional change that promotes a better quality of life.
I have worked as a clinical and consulting psychologist in Chicago for over twenty years. I provide psychotherapy to adults, adolescents and children in private practice and school settings.
